Professional internship for Forestry Technician, for the area of forestry certification – Central Region

2BForest Partner Silvimondego is looking to recruit for support in the area of forest certification, specifically in the Forest Certification group “2B_Forest_Group”, supporting the technical manager of the Project Center in this area and in the various tasks of monitoring forest owners in the Central Region of Portugal.

Candidate profile:

• Qualification for IEFP professional internships – Level 7

• Pre-Bologna Bachelor's Degree or Post-Bologna Master's Degree in Forestry Engineering or Agricultural Sciences

• Computer skills from a user perspective, particularly in QGIS

• Knowledge of forest planning and management techniques

• Ability to work in a team

• Sense of responsibility

• Availability to travel

• Immediate availability

• Residence in the central region (Viseu / Coimbra / Leiria / Castelo Branco)

Job Description:

• Support in assessing needs and communicating with customers

• Support in the collection, analysis and interpretation of field information

• Support in the preparation of forest cartography

• Support in filling out databases
