Apas Floresta and APFCAN – new partners in environmental responsibility project – 20/21 Campaign

Apas Floresta and APFCAN participate as partners in the international environmental responsibility program for the Leiria region.

Since the end of 2019, 2BForest has been coordinating a project to support actions to recover burnt areas through planting and managing forest areas, with native species, in the OFA-Atlantis Forestry Organization, has been involved since the beginning and has already provided management support to around 1,800 plants in the area burned by the 2017 fires, in the Leiria Region.

This project is supported by FSC® Portugal and aims to maintain responsible forest management, promote native species and maintain fire prevention areas, in a sustainable and diverse rural mosaic!
