South Zone: Vacancy for Forestry Technician, for the area of forestry certification

2BForest is recruiting to support the technical staff of the 2BForest Forest Certification Area in the South zone, specifically in the Forest Certification group “2B_Forest_Group”, in the various tasks developed in the various ongoing projects and support to forest owners and companies.

Candidate profile:

• Pre-Bologna Bachelor's Degree or Post-Bologna Master's Degree in Forestry Engineering or Agricultural Sciences

• Computer skills from a user perspective, namely in QGIS and Excel

• Knowledge of forest planning and management techniques

• Ability to work in a team

• Sense of responsibility

• Availability to travel

• Immediate availability

• Address in the intervention area of Southern Portugal

Job Description:

• Coordination of the South Pole in the area of forest certification.

• Assessment of needs and communication with customers.

• Collection, analysis and interpretation of field information from the coverage area.

• Ensure the implementation of forest certification requirements in certified forest areas in the SOUTH.

• Access and management of information on the ForestSIM Platform.

• Development of innovative projects in the Southern Region.
