2BFOREST obtains first support for Ecosystem Services in Portugal

In July 2021, a new historic milestone was reached with the support of the first certified Ecosystem Services in Portugal!

The sponsorship results from the first National certification of forest ecosystem services recognized by the international standard FSC-PRO-30-006-PT, obtained from the 2BForest certification group.

Sponsorships for ecosystem services are managed by 2BForest, in which promotion is carried out in collaboration with 2BForest partners, who intend to actively contribute to promoting the sustainability of the National Forest, within the scope of their sustainability policy!

The first support for national ecosystem services was through the Reflora platform, to offset emissions from an online event by the company JLL.

Congratulations to all those involved in this process, contributing positively to improving the conservation of our natural heritage, increasing the resilience of rural areas, and improving the landscape of forested areas.

Congratulations to the team at 2BForest and Reflora. our first partner on this path of promoting “Active Forest Management!”
