National Day of Prevention and Safety at Work: “Floresta na Moda” Event
THE National Day of Prevention and Safety at Work, April 28th, is this year marked with the release of the “Forest in Fashion” Event, on May 28th at Expoflorestal.
Forest safety is one of the main pillars of forest certification.
The importance of personal protective equipment for the well-being of workers, companies and their relationships with their families requires us to be imaginative in combat a cultural problem that destroys so many lives every year and leaves families devastated, often due to the lack of use or improper use of safety equipment.
It is in this sense that 2BForest, together with Navigator, decided to promote an initiative that aims to instill the culture of “being fashionable” in terms of the use of protective equipment and helping to change the cultural use of it by forestry operators. This event aims to be “out of the box” bringing some innovation and dynamism to this sector, raising awareness of the importance of image in the sector’s appreciation.
