May 28th, 11am: “Fashion in the Forest” Event – EXPOFLORESTAL22
2BForest and The Navigator Company, launch the “Forest in Fashion” Event, on May 28th, at 11am, at Expoflorestal, which has the partnership of all chain of custody certification groups in Portugal and the sponsorship of Stihl, Lavouto and Silvi-Cultura.
Forest safety is one of the main pillars of forest certification and must be a priority for all of us!
The importance of personal protective equipment for the well-being of workers, companies and their relationships with their families requires us to be imaginative in combat a cultural problem that destroys so many lives every year and leaves families devastated, often due to the lack of use or improper use of safety equipment.
It is in this sense that 2BForest, together with Navigator, decided to promote an initiative that aims to instill the culture of “being fashionable” in terms of the use of protective equipment and helping to change the cultural use of it by forestry operators. This event aims to be “out of the box” bringing some innovation and dynamism to this sector, raising awareness of the importance of image in the sector’s appreciation.
This challenge is transversal to all chain of custody certification groups, which aim to value companies that are part of this group, allowing them to be certified by international recognition systems, being a very worrying topic for everyone!
