2BFOREST asks the Government to postpone the implementation of SiCorte

On July 28, 2022, 2BFOREST asked the Government to postpone the deadline for implementing the new SiCorte platform for timber traceability.

2BForest, through ANEFA, participated in the SiCorte construction working group in June and July 2021, but only in 2022 did it learn about the final product, where it was found that its degree of complexity was not adjusted to the reality of the sector agents who have to operate it.

In this sense, this concern was expressed and this request was made to the Government to postpone its implementation, while simultaneously maintaining the transitional mechanism, the form Google Forms, so that it is possible to provide adequate training and information to those who have to implement Sicorte.
