AGROGLOBAL: September 5-7: Acting for nature, for sure!
2BForest will be at Agroglobal from September 5th to 7th, with measures to mitigate its environmental footprint!
2BForest, within the scope of its corporate responsibility, subscribed to the principles of ACT4Natura of BCSD Portugal, namely, “prevent, reduce and, ultimately, offset our impacts, aiming, on a case-by-case basis, for the absence of net loss or even a net gain in biodiversity in our activities and geographic areas of influence, considering the need for ecosystems to adapt to climate change.”, has adopted a strategy to minimize its environmental footprint and joins the initiative to promote national biodiversity!

Therefore, our presence at AGROGLOBAL is guided by minimizing the impact that we will inevitably have on the environment, in which some of the measures adopted are:
-
Use of forest-based materials from certified forests (leaflets, posters, pencils, cups, etc.)
-
Reuse of materials, such as the stand that is reused at several fairs, whose composition is fabric from recycled materials;
-
Shared transport: 2BForest's 12 employees, from all over the country, ensure their presence by sharing rides whenever possible to reduce their emissions;
-
The materials used in gifts for our owners are forest-based, made from organic cotton or include recycled materials;
-
Our participation will include adherence to NEUTROLOGY, withthe calculation of the environmental footprint of 2BFOREST’s presence at AGROGLOBAL, as well as the 2 events that we will organize (“National Rural Carbon and corporate sustainability policies” and “Forest in Fashion“) (see more at Neutrology | Carbon Neutrality | Lisbon).

By joining Neutrologia, we are contributing to "integrating biodiversity into our corporate strategy, basing our actions on available scientific knowledge" and "Raising awareness and training our employees on biodiversity and its relationship to their activities. Promoting and encouraging nature protection initiatives and giving due recognition to their actions and practices in this area."
