A “Better Forest” is being created in Proença-a-Nova.
As part of the Transform Agenda's "Better Forest" Program, co-financed by the PRR, 2Bforest is a partner in the implementation of a network of demonstration fields for Good Forestry Practices, which serve as an example to promote "ACTIVE FOREST MANAGEMENT".
On February 27th, we will unveil the demonstration field “Management of the Pinhal Bravo and valorization of intermediate products”, which has the support of the Carmo Wood group, on a certified property within the 2B_Forest_Group group.
This session aims to present the post-fire pine forest management actions that the Carmo group has carried out in the Municipality of Proença-a-Nova, demonstrating the importance of valuing intermediate products to ensure the management of maritime pine forest areas, contributing to increasing the resilience of the territory and the valorization of the existing population.
