FACECO 24: July 19-21 – Presentation of the Campos Network and Demonstration of the Melhor Floresta project – Transform Agenda
2BForest has another year with a stand from Faceco 2024, of July 19-21, Saint Teotonius, Odemira!
During these days we will present the Network of Demonstration Fields of Good Forestry Practices, under the Better Forest Project, of the Transform Agenda.
2BForest is responsible for the implementation and dissemination of 11 Demonstration Fields on Good Forestry Practices, which cover Active and Sustainable Forest Management, from north to south. We'll discuss ecosystem services, recovery of burned areas of maritime pine, cork oak, strawberry tree… and many other topics!
On the day July 20th, a lunch-get-together with the members of southern region, organized by 2BForest and supported by The Navigator Company (TNC). The welcome session will also feature presentations of the Demonstration Field Network, including national and international projects in which 2BForest is involved (Ecosystem Services, Carbon, and Environmental Responsibility); the 2B_Forest_Group Forest Certification Group at the national level and in the southern region; and Forest Owner Support Programs presented by TNC.
