We are looking for a proactive person to join our GIS team.

Desired profile:
• Pre-Bologna Bachelor's degree or post-Bologna Master's degree in Systems
Geographic Information, Forestry Engineering, Geography, Computer Science or related areas;
• Minimum of 2 years experience in similar roles;
• Advanced knowledge of QGIS and spatial analysis tools;
• Experience with Microsoft 365 tools;
• Strong spirit of initiative, passion for forestry, innovation and capacity
to lead or collaborate on multidisciplinary projects;
• Good communication, organizational and collaborative work skills.
Valued:
• Knowledge in remote sensing, LiDAR data processing and digital terrain models;
• Experience in WebGIS programming (e.g. Leaflet, OpenLayers, Mapbox);
• Knowledge of Python, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, SQL and REST APIs.
Job Description:
• Technician in the GIS and Technological Development department;
• National support for the company’s technicians;
• Support in managing the ForestSIM® platform and technical support to customers;
• Support in the implementation of new technological solutions;
• Management of the cartographic information system and databases of the forest certification group.
