2BForest participated in the event "Forest Certification, Voluntary Carbon Market and Financing," promoted by FENAFLORESTA/CONFAGRI as part of the Advance Forest project, which took place on September 19th. The event brought together experts, technicians, and entities from the forestry sector to discuss the challenges and opportunities associated with certification, the carbon market, and sustainable financing for Portuguese forests.

During the event, 2BForest had the opportunity to share its experience with ecosystem services certification and the ES_Sponsor project, which aims to quantify and certify the services provided by forests, create a sustainable economic model that recognizes and rewards forest owners, and promote management practices aligned with international sustainability standards.
