Vacancy: Regional Technician Center
Candidate profile:
- Ability to work and help each other as a team;
- Dynamic and Responsible;
- Qualifications: Higher education related to Agricultural Sciences, Geographic Information Systems or similar fields (Forestry, Land Planning, Information Systems and Technologies, Geography);
- Professional experience with GIS software (QGIS preferred);
- Experience with Microsoft Office;
- Residence within the area of operation: Ferreira do Zêzere or neighboring municipalities
- Knowledge of forestry and/or land use planning is a preferential requirement;
- Driving license;
- Availability for mobility;
- Preferred qualifications: registration with the relevant professional body (e.g., Order of Engineers); training at ForestSIM.
Job Description:
- Support for forest owners in obtaining forest certification and certification of ecosystem services;
- Support for companies and forest owners in the management and application of Good Forestry Practices;
- Support for the Polo Centro team in ongoing projects in the territory.

2BForest, a consulting company in the forestry sector, is recruiting a technician to support the Central Hub in forest certification in the Ferreira do Zêzere region and neighboring municipalities. The role involves promoting forest owner participation in forest certification, ecosystem services, projects, and forest planning, using the ForestSIM platform.
