Support for the Modernization of the Forestry Sector for SMEs
We would like to inform you that call for proposals C.3.1.1 – Productive Investment in Bioeconomy – Modernization – Forestry Sector, aimed at supporting SMEs, producer organizations and forestry producer organizations engaged in the exploitation, processing and marketing of forest products, is now open.
Objective of the support
To promote sustainable forest management, encourage the modernization of mining units, and foster job creation and economic development in rural areas.
Who can apply?
– SMEs in the forestry sector;
– Producer organizations;
– Forest producer organizations.
Form and limits of support
– 50% support for investments up to €250,000
– 45% support for investments between €250,000 and €2,000,000
– Maximum funding per application: €600,000
Eligible expenses
– Forestry machinery and equipment (bark harvesting, transport, biomass, resin extraction, sorting);
– Construction and modernization of facilities;
– Equipment for quality control, automation and energy efficiency;
– FSC/PEFC certifications and technical consulting;
– Software and engineering projects associated with the investment.
Application deadline
From November 6, 2025 to January 22, 2026.
