Kristin: Owner Support Network – RAP
Following the passage of Storm Kristin, which led the Government to declare a State of Emergency in several regions of the country, we wish to express our solidarity with all affected forest owners, business owners and managers.
The damage recorded in the forest—such as fallen trees, blocked access, increased risk of pests, and insecurity—represents a significant challenge to recovery and the continuity of sustainable management.
Faced with this scenario, 2BForest activated, during the emergency period, the RAP – Owner Support Network, a team created to support forest owners after the storm. The RAP provides technical information, guidance on procedures, support in damage assessment, and referrals to recovery solutions. Its purpose is simple and clear: no owner faces this situation alone.
Members of the 2BForest_Group Certification Group can rely on RAP, a team comprised of dedicated 2BForest technicians and partners, whose mission is to:
• Focus efforts on the most affected regions.
• Assess damage to certified settlements
• To guide owners on intervention priorities
• Identify financial support — through 2BForest projects or public measures — for forest restoration and minimize financial losses.
• Support the reorganization of the Forest Management Plan, whenever necessary.
With the RAP – Owner Support Network, we aim to provide closer technical support to minimize losses, restore safe conditions, and prepare forest restoration actions.
2BForest, and its certification partners, are available to support all affected members and to present solutions that strengthen forest management.
We would also like to inform you that a form for registering agricultural losses is available on the CAP website:

Together we are rebuilding a more resilient forest.
