We are hiring a Forestry Consultant (Sabóia/Odemira)!

We are looking for an intern to join our team and support the growth of our forestry consulting activities, focusing on certification and funded projects, to start in May 2026.

Main Responsibilities

• Support to management in forestry consulting activities.
• Participation in FSC® and PEFC certification processes.
• Collection, organization and analysis of technical information.
• Cartographic interpretation and preparation of supporting documentation.
• Support in preparing applications for funded projects.
• Monitoring of administrative and technical processes.
• Participation in meetings with property owners, parishes, and local entities.
• Field visits for data collection and monitoring of initiatives.

Internship Objectives

• Develop practical skills in forest certification and ecosystem services.
• Gaining experience in preparing funded projects.
• Strengthen communication, organizational, and critical analysis skills.
• To promote autonomy and progressive integration into the company's dynamics.

Desired Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Forestry Management, Environment, Agricultural Sciences, Rural Economics or similar fields.
• Master's degree (preferred)
• Interest in the area of forestry consulting and sustainability.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Organization, rigor, a sense of responsibility, and a spirit of initiative.
• Ability to interpret maps and organize technical information.
• Driver's license and availability for regular travel.

Workplace

• Saboia and/or Odemira (with travel within the region)
• Possibility of a hybrid system after the initial integration period.

Mandatory requirements for internships + talent (IEFP):

• To be under 35 years old
• Being registered with the IEFP as unemployed
• Possess academic qualifications of level 6 or higher.
