2BForest was present this week at FORADVISE Scoping Seminar, which took place in Montpellier, as part of the European FORADVISE project, of which the company is a consortium member.
The event brought together partners and experts from different countries with the aim of promoting knowledge exchange and strengthening collaboration around forest advisory systems. From mapping challenges and needs to exploring tools, knowledge and best practices, the first day was dedicated to building a shared vision of the current state of the sector. The discussion included the participation of all... Thematic Working Groupsallowing for the alignment of perspectives and the identification of common priorities.
In the following days, the focus shifted from identifying challenges to defining concrete paths forward. The second day included role-playing sessions and thematic discussions in a format... World Café and collaborative workshops. Participants worked on real-life counseling cases, exploring new ways to improve knowledge transfer and the effectiveness of services provided.
The program also included a field trip to a Mediterranean Aleppo pine forest, providing a practical context for reflection and learning.
The final day was dedicated to consolidating the conclusions, allowing participants to clarify the next steps and reinforce their collective commitment to developing innovative solutions within the FORADVISE project.
