2BForest is present at Conservation Biology Day at FCUL.

2BForest participated in Conservation Biology Day, an initiative that brought together students, teachers, and professionals involved in nature conservation to reflect on the challenges and opportunities associated with the protection and enhancement of ecosystems.

Representing the company, the CEO, Susana Brigido, gave a lecture dedicated to the role of nudging and of the counseling services (advisory services) in the enhancement and management of conservation areas.

Throughout the presentation, some of the main challenges currently facing Portuguese forests were addressed, as well as 2BForest's contribution to the development of innovative solutions that promote more sustainable management of natural resources.

The presentation also highlighted the platform's role. ForestSIM The integration and enhancement of ecosystem services were discussed, demonstrating how these tools can support conservation and territorial management strategies. The importance of forest certification as a mechanism for advising and encouraging the adoption of good management practices was also highlighted.

Among the examples presented was the project ES_Sponsor, an initiative that uses approaches of nudging to encourage behaviors and decisions that contribute to the conservation of ecosystems and to the appreciation of the services they provide to society.
